Reversal of transforming growth factor β_2 mediated immunosuppression of LAK and CD_3AK by Icarrin

Objective:To study the reversal of transforming growth factor β 2(TGFβ 2) mediated immunosuppression of LAK and CD 3AK cells by Icarrin and its mechanisms.Methods:MTT assay, RT-PCR, Flow Cytometry.Results:ICA can reverse TGFβ 2 mediated suppression of the cytotoxic activity of LAK and CD 3AK cells.It can also reverse TGFβ 2 mediated downregulation of IL-2Rα expression on LAK cells and perforin mRNA level in CD 3AK cells.Conclusion:The mechanisms of ICA function is probably due to its capability of reversal TGFβ 2- mediated suppression of IL-2Rα expression on LAK cells and perforin mRNA level in CD 3AK cells.
