The features of diamond with high quality and its application in engineering bit

Crystalline shape, strength, impurity and heat stability of diamond with high quality have been studied systematically by techniques such as heat treatment, static compressive strength test, X ray diffraction, emission spectrum analysis and XTL Ⅱ microscope, and its application in engineering bit has also been studied. The experimental results show that high quality diamond has four representative features, including perfect crystalline shape, high strength, low impurity, high heat stability. High grade diamond bits can make good economic profit and have good application prospect. [
