Experimental research on desulfurization of coal by Fungi

By orthogonal experiment,the main influencing factors desulfurization by Fungi,such as pH value,temperature,concentration of coal slurry and coal size were studied in detail.The experimental results demonstrate that Fungi can effectively remove inorganic and organic sulfur in coal.The optimum conditions of desulfurization are obtained as follows: pH value 6,temperature 45 ℃,concentration of coal slurry 15% and coal size 160 μm.The superlatively desulfurization rate is 44.96% total sulfur and 54.87% inorganic sulfur in two days under the above optimum condition,and the effect of desulfurization increases along with time.
