Geological and geochemical characteristics and metallogenic specialization of the yanshanian granite in the polymetallic ore deposit of the west part of Hainan Province

Based on the analysis of the major elements, trace elements and rare earth elements of the Yanshanian granite in the west part of Hainan Province, the petro genesis and evolution of intrusion and metallogenic specialization were discussed. Based on the analysis of the geochemical characteristics, metallogenic specialization of the granitic rock was discussed. The results show that the major granitites are biotite-granite, granite porphyry, granodiorite and K-feldspar granite belonging to quasi-aluminous rock — Peraluminous calcic rock — high kalium calc alkalic rock. The rocks are enriched in large ion lithophile element and depleted in high field strength element, with relatively low rare earth elements contents. The rock body of polymetallic ore deposit in this area experiences a high degree of crystallization differentiation. Furthermore, granite porphyry and K-feldspar granite are S-type granite, while granodiorite and biotite-granite are I-type granite. The granodiorite, biotite-granite is the favorable rock for looking for gold deposits in the region, and granite porphyry is for molybdenum deposits in the region.
