Study on liquid fermentation of Morchella crassipes

The liquid fermentation conditions of Morchella crassipes were studied. The results showed that the optimum conditions of PYG liquid fer-mentation (0.5% yeast extract) were: fermentation temperature 25℃, rotation speed 150 r/min, medium volume 150 ml in 500 ml flask (adding ten glass beads). It showed that 0.7% CMC addition obviously increased the biomass. Based on above shake flask cultivation conditions, 6 fermentation media were tested, and the highest biomass was obtained on the fermentation medium composed of 50% malt extract, 2% corn powder and 0.5% yeast extract, by which the biomass was 16.4g and the regeneration rate was 9%.
