Research progress of function and production of antibacterial peptides

In order to further understand the research progress of antimicrobial peptides, and provide theoretical basis for the purification, identification, production and application of antimicrobial peptides, the function and method of purification, identification, synthetic and genetic engineering of the antimicrobial peptide were summarized. The antibacterial peptides not only have a broad spectrum antimicrobial activity, but also have the effects of antitumor, antiviral, promoting wound healing, etc. The common treatment methods for antibacterial peptides were acetic acid extraction and reversed phase liquid chromatography purification. The method for antibacterial peptide synthesis was solid phase synthesis. Genetic recombination generally includes three contents: genetic structure analysis of antibacterial peptides, regulation of antibacterial peptide gene expression, c DNA encoding and antibacterial peptide gene expression system.
