The Processing of Compound Health Beverage from Honeysuckle,Chrysanthemum and Bitter Almond

XIE Bi-xia, XIE Tao (College of Resources and Environment of CSFU, Zhuzhou 412006, Hunan, China)  
A compound health beverage that can be beneficial to the throat was made from honeysuckle, chrysanthemum and bitter almond with honey as the main raw material. The methods are comparative tests and orthogonal experiments. The optimal formula is as follows: 10% of honeysuckle juice, 10% of chrysanthemum, 50% of bitter almond milk, 6% of honey, 0.03% of aspartame, 0.2% of compound stabilizer and 0.01% of essence. This compound beverage was disinfected at 125℃ for 5 min after being homogenized, degassed and bottled. Conclusions: this compound beverage holds a natural scent of honeysuckle and chrysanthemum and also a fragrance of bitter almond; all its standards are in accordance with those of congenial products.
