Extraction of changing information of forest resource monitoring with ZY-1-02C images

China's own self-developed ZY-1-02 C satellite data is used to explore extraction methods of changing information for monitoring the forest resources. The satellite data collected by ZY-1-02 C satellite for Longquan district, Zhejiang Province were pertreated by adopting methods of atmospheric correction, geometric correction, image fusion and etc.; Through comparing methods of spectral features variation and image subtraction method with band replacement method, the appropriate method for extracting mutation region was chosen out. On the basis of the image fusion by the maximum likelihood method, the minimum distance, Mahalanobis distance method and parallelepiped classification method, the land types of changing area were determined, further it was proved that the HPF fusion is the appropriate fusion method of resources satellite No.1, the maximum likelihood method is the optimal method for extraction. The studies to explore the use of ZY-1-02 C satellite data in the application of dynamic monitoring of forest resources has the positive significance, also can further improve the efficiency of satellite data processing, so as to provide basis and reference.
