Two-Dimensional Water Quality Grid Calculation Based on GIS

Taking digital warning and forecasting system of water quality in Xijiang River as background,the authors digitize the watercourse of the river,develop the close-fitting grids,and then calculate the numerical equations of one-dimensional steady flow and two-dimensional water quality model based on GIS.The results of the concentration field are implemented on the platform of GIS.The two-dimensional water quality grid calculation based on GIS supplies a new way of spatial and time simulation and forecasting of water-quality,and can also provide favorable support to the management and decision-making for water environment researchers.
