Study on Yield and its Components of Xieyou 9308 under the System of Rice Intensification

Xieyou 9308, a super hybrid rice, was carried out in the experiment of the system of rice intensification at Xinchang in Zhejiang province. The transplanting density was arranged from15.3 hill/m2 to 6.9 hill/m2. The density of 15.3 hill/m2 had the highest yield in the experiment; comparing with CK, the yield was increased by 10%, which was higher filled grain number. The transplanting density significantly affected yield and filled grain per panicle(R12=0.9917**,R32 = 0.9339**) . Among the treatments of the densities under the system of rice intensification, the less density had the lower yield, because higher tillers and panicle per hill lead to lower average grain per panicle. The highest tillers and effective tillers remarkably correlated with the transplanting density(R82 = 0.9594**,R92 = 0.9506**). It is important for selecting the suitable transplanting density and integrated management of Xieyou 9308 under the system of rice intensification to extend.
