Multivariate Statistical Methods and their Application in Crops Environment Stress

Environmental conditions including drought, waterlogging, high temperature, low temperature and salt limited the growth and development of plants and the production of crops. Application of multiple statistical analysis will play a foundation for selecting new varieties of crops with strong tolerance and determinating identification stage and evaluation indexes for evaluating stress tolerance in crop by means of principal component analysis, factor analysis, clustering analysis, multiple regression analysis, subordinate function analysis, hierarchy process analysis, multiple dimension space analysis, etc. Multivariate statistical analysis is widely used in the identification of crops stress tolerance, and it has become an important tool and plays a principal role in this field.
