A STUDY ON CARDIAC FUNCTION IN EARLY ALLOXAN DIABETIC RABBITS
Wang Yi;et al. (Dept.of medieine ,the Fiist hospital)
he early changes of cardiac function were studied in alloxan dialbetic rabbits in comparison with nomlal con-trols.After the onset of dialsetes for 4 weeks, left ventricular function indices including the peak pressure of leftventricule(Peak),the end diastolic pressure(EDP)the isovolumic contraction pressure(IP),the Peak negative -dp/dt max,(-Smax)and the area of lieart Working cycle(Area)were all significantly lower then those of normalcontirols(IP,-Smax,P 0.005);Area(P 0.05)EDP,P(0.001)The results suggested that eraly decrease of leftventricular contraction and relaxation mdy be relaed to abnomal metabolism and diabetic cardiomyopathy.
