After the outbreak of the War of Resistance against Japan,in order to achieve its "fried landing",make the society panic, the Japanese began to bomb Wuhan to its fall. Japanese bombing Wuhan can be divided into two phases: "onslaught"and massive bombing. The bombing not only caused many casualties and property damage, but also had extremely bad influence on people's psychology. The social public, including Wuhan government, social organizations, and the news media, etc.,did not succumb to the aircraft, but denounced the atrocity of the Japanese bombing in many ways, and directly participated in the air defense, air rescue and other air raid rescue work, which played an important role in the struggle against the Japanese bombing.
