An Empirical Study of College Students' Subjective Well-being,Self-Control and Internet Addiction

Our survey of 1500 college students with questionnaires entitled "Subjective WellBeing","Internet Addiction"and "Self-Control"shows:College students' network addiction and their scores on each dimension were significantly below the theoretical median;there are significant differences between college students in aspects including gender,status as an only child,major and grade;there exists significant correlations among subjective well-being,self-control and Internet addiction;subjective well-being and self-control have significantly negative predictive effects on Internet addiction;self-control has some mediating effect between subjective well-being and network addiction.
