Chitosan oligosaccharide,resistant starch and its compound on lipid metabolism and intestinal flora in high-diet rats

Objective :To investigated the mechanism of chitosan oligosaccharide(CO),resistant rtarch(RS),and their Compound on high-fat diet rats' intestinal flora. Methods :Fifty SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups,including normal control group,high-fat diet group and 3 different intervening groups;Intervening groups are treated with chitosan oligosaccharide(0.3g/d · per rat),resistant starch(1.2g/d · per rat)and compound(1.5g/d · per rat),the blood lipid and intestinal micro flora were analyzed after 6 weeks. Results :Compared with the normal control group,high fat diet decreased the abundance and diversity of intestinal flora,serum total cholesterol(TC),total triglyceride(TG)and low density lipoprotein(LDL-C)were significantly increased(p 0.05). After the intervene of chitosan oligosaccharide,resistant starch and their compound. The blood lipid indexes of rats were decreased,the number of species,the diversity of bacteria and probiotics increased significantly. Conclusion :This compound promoted the growth of probiotics and inhibited spoilage bacteria,so that intestinal micro ecological environment was improved and lipid metabolism was regulated. Its effects of reducing lipids is better than that of chitosan oligosaccharide and resistant starch alone.
