Studies on the Blade Tail Edge Vortex Shedding Broadband Noise Calculation Model of Axial Flow Fan

The model to calculate the blade tail edge vortex shedding broadband noise of low speed axial flow fan is studied, Conclusion is got that sound power of the tail edge vortex noise is direct proportion to the quintuple of the cosine value of the blade edge sweep angle. A model based on the gauss distributing formula is put forward which is suitable for spectrum calculation. Experiments are done for validation and good fitness is observed.
