Free Vibration of the Cantilever Beam with Rotating Motion by Artificial Parameter Method

Based on the analytical and numerical method,free vibration of the cantilever beam with rotating motion is analyzed.Due to the influence of the geometric nonlinearity,the governing equation is strongly nonlinear.The first-order approximate solution is obtained by introducing artificial parameter in the equation.Then a comparison of the obtained analytical solution with numerical result shows that the artificial parameter method is effective and accurate to the strongly nonlinear system.
