Optimization Design and Modal Test of Fixtures for Vibration Testing

Optimization design has been introduced to the fixture design in this article.With topology and size optimization,the reasonable arrangement of material and the thickness of the fixtures are obtained.Thus,efficiency of the design and quality of the fixtures are raised.Modal testing of the processed fixtures is implemented using DASP method and the results of testing are compared with those of FEM computation.The reliability and applicability of fixtures optimization design are proved.This work provides a valuable reference for dynamic design of the fixtures.
