Study of Sustainable Development of Resources City Based on Ecological Footprint Model——A Case Study of Daqing City

Ecological Footprint Model was widely used for achieving sustainable development to evaluate whether the regional development was in sustainable situation.In this paper,the model was used to calculate and analyze the ecological footprint the resources and energy sources in Daqing City.At the same time,diversity of ecological footprint and development ability was surveyed.The ecological footprint of Daqing was 4.5838g hm2 per capita in 2006.Ecological deficit existed seriously with 3.723 ghm2 per capita.The main reason for ecological deficit was energy consumption,the fossil energy footprints took up 87%of the total.While cropland,water area,and grass etc had a relatively high surplus.Which was related to the industrial configuration.Ecological footprint's diversity was low(0.5412) and the development ability was 2.4808.The method of improving sustainable development of Daqing was adjusting industrial configuration,controlling the population,increasing the ecological footprint's diversity and reducing footprint.
