Study on Genetic Diversity of Dendrocalamopsis oldhamii in Different Provenances by AFLP Technology

AFLP technology was employed to study the genetic diversity of Dendrocalamopsis oldhamii from 21 different provenances. About 20 primer pairs for selection were used to amplify the genomic DNA from 21 provenances, and the products of PCR were segregated by 6% denatured polyacrylamide gel and silver stained for AFLP analysis. The results showed there was little polymorphism among individuals from different provenances, indicating that the genetic diversity of selected samples of D. oldhamii was very low.
