THE ANALGESIC EFFICACY OF INTRAVASCULAR He Ne LASER IRRADIATION ON LUNG CANCER PATIENTS

Objective: To study the effects of intravascular laser irradiation on blood (ILIB) on the treatment of pain in lung cancer patients. Methods: 30 cases with lung cancer were treated with ILIB. β Endorphin (β EP) of blood plasma was measured. Efficacy of pain treatment was detected with VRS. Results: A total effective rate of 93.3% in pain was achieved after ILIB treatment. β Ep of blood plasma in patients was obviously higher after treatment than before. Conclusion: The results suggest that ILIB produces a decrease of pain in lung cancer patients.
