The lethal effects of four fungi on tobacco beetles were tested. The results showed that tobacco beetles could be infected by the four fungi. In the experiments,Beauveria bassiana originated from Guangxi Province was shown to be the best strain. It could cause half of the beetle's death rate in 10 days at 108 spores/mL.The regression equation describing the relationships between the infection time, spore concentration and the lethal rate were constructed by the software SPSS.
