Prediction of potential geographic distribution of Microcyclus ulei in the world using MaxEnt

South American leaf blight(SALB),caused by Microcyclus ulei,is one of the most serious disease of Para rubber in America,and the pathogen is an important quarantine pest of the Asia-pacific region.In this paper,the potential occurrence and establishment areas were predicted by using the MaxEnt based on the climate variables with the distribution of Para rubber.The results showed that the pathogen could establish in the rubber-planting areas,where the suitable climatic value is above 10.Except Guinea-Bissau,Mali and the countries where the pathogen distributed,the other rubber-planting countries are the potential geographic distribution areas of M.ulei.Strengthening surveillance and phytosanitary measures in these regions has vital significance for local rubber plantation.
