Empirical Analysis on the Optimal Dimensional Structure of Human Resource Management in University

By using structural equations to empirically and theoretically analyze the sample data collected through open questionnaires and interviews concerning key events, we propose the optimal dimensional structure of human resource management practice in university, in which six dimensions are generated by analyzing exploratory factors, and then the optimal structure of human resource management practice is verified by examining factors. Our research shows that the optimal human resource management practice is made up of six dimensions: staff allocation and competition, encouragement system, occupational safety, participation, performance management and strategic human resource plan. Meanwhile, our findings also provide a theoretical basis and measuring tool to evaluate the human resource management in university.
