Design of Courtyard Space in High-rise Residential

China is in a high-speed development stage of urbanization . Toward to high-density urban development is the trend . Courtyard Houses are ideal homes for Chinese people for thousands of years . However , in today's high-density cities , people have been very difficult to feel the courtyard space life . In this paper , I will summarize the types and characteristics of the modern high-rise residential building in order to provide a basis for the future development of the courtyard .
