Study on extraction technology of total flavonoids in gynostemma

Objective:To make a comparison about the extraction technology of total flavonoids in gynostemma.Methods:Comparing of the ethylalcohol-backflow extracting and ultrasonic wave extracting,UV-Spectrophotomtry was adapted to detect the total flavone content of the samples at the wavelength of 500 nm and rutin being the reference substance.Results:There was good liner relationship between 0.008~0.0048 mg/ml(r=0.9993),the total flavone average content of the samples of ethylalcohol-backflow extracting and ultrasonic wave extracting was 0.4159%,0.4162%,respectively.Conclusion:The ultrasonic wave extracting is efficient,convenient and rapid.
