Research on biochemical typing,toxin and antibiotic resistance of foodborne bacillus cereus in Wenzhou

Objective To understand the contamination condition of bacillus cereus in food in Wenzhou,and learn more about toxin gene profile,biochemical typing and antibiotic resistance of foodborne bacillus cereus. Methods Refer to GB /T4789. 14-2003 to carry on bacillus cereus detection and biochemical typing in food,at the same time ten toxin genes were screened by polymerase chain reaction( PCR),drug sensitivity was determined in keyboard( K-B) method. Results 39 bacillus cereus strains were detected in 68 samples,the detection rate is 57. 4%,including biochemical typing 9 out of 26 strains and typing 10 out of 13 strains. 100% of the strains carryed at least one toxin gene,and 12. 8% of strains carried the emetic toxin genes and composite nonhemolytic enterotoxin Nhe gene,and nonhemolytic enterotoxin Nhe gene and Enterotoxin FM gene,as well as Enterotoxin T gene are the main toxin genes. Bacillus cereus was sensitive to ciprofloxacin,erythromycin,vancomycin,chloramphenicol and kanamycin while resistant to ampicillin. Conclusion The contamination of bacillus cereus was existed in food in Wenzhou,at the same time the positive rate of foodborne bacillus cereus toxin genes is high,and easy to cause potential risk of foodborne disease. Ampicillin was not available as a clinical medication.
