Research on Healthcare Experience of Community Residents in J District,Shanghai

Objective To analyze the present situation and problems of healthcare experience of residents in J District of Shanghai,and to put forward some policy suggestions to further enhance the healthcare experience of residents.Methods Stratified sampling method was used to select 1200 participants from the urban and rural community residents living in J district,Shanghai,and data was collected and analyzed with descriptive analysis for quantitative research.Purposive sampling was used to select 12 residents in J district,who were interviewed by semi-structured in-depth interview method for qualitative research on their healthcare experience.Results The healthcare experience of residents on hardware aspects such as infrastructure and devices is better than that of the humanistic and soft environment.Community health care is welcomed for its convenient,accessibility and low price,however,its service scope and contents were reflected unable to meet residents' demand.Experiences on GP services are good,but GPs' medical skills need to be promoted.Awareness and demand for healthcare have increased,although some residents' healthcare seeking ideas and habits are irrational.Healthcare for vulnerable groups are weak and related services are fragmented.Suggestions Intensifying publicity and explanation of health policies.Innovating service mode and establishing integrated care path based on case management and personalized service for targeted disease and groups.Enabling residents to develop scientific concept of health and reasonable healthcare seeking habits.Improving residents' ability of self health management.Strengthening cooperation between relevant government departments to improve the institutional environment and policy support.
