EFFECT OF EPIBRASSINOLIDE ON FORMATION OF 1-(MALONYLAMINO)-CYCLOPROPANE-1-CARBOXYLIC ACID,1-AMINOCYCLOPROPANE-1-CARBOXYLIC ACID AND ETHYLENE IN ETIOLATED MUNGBEAN HYPOCOTYL SEGMENTS

It was observed that in etiolated mungbean hypocotyl segments the synthesisof ACC and the capability of tissue to conjugate ACC to MACC was stimulatedby epibrassinolide (0.001-10 ppm). MACC was formed from the most of ACCand greatly accumulated in the epibrassinolide-treated tissues. There was noeffect of epibrassinolide on EFE.
