Comparison on Main Chemical Components of Full Flavor Flue- cured Tobacco Leaves Grown in Different Areas of Hunan Province

A total of 111 flue- cured tobacco samples with 3 grades( B2F,C3F,and X2F) were collected from the full flavor flue- tobacco areas of Hunan Province; Basic statistical characteristic of starch content,the content difference between grades,grown areas were studied; Cluster analysis was carried out on the starch of flue- cured tobacco samples. The results showed that: The starch content of samples was 1. 11% ~ 6. 02% and the average of starch content existed between years; Three grades flue- cured tobacco sample in the order of starch content were C3F B2F X2F,and X2F with C3F and B2F existed significant difference; Changsha and Hengyang starch content of flue- cured tobacco of samples were higher,Chenzhou was the lowest,there existed significant difference between some areas; the results of cluster analysis suggested that the starch contents in full flavor flue- tobacco areas of Hunan Province could be divided into three categories( high,middle,low).
