The paper points out that the academic statusesof the scholars should be determined by their highest achievements rather than comprehensive academic contributions, further, with the five-step visualization approach, the paper preciselyvisualizes the academic statuses of the scholars in the "frontier knowledge map", so to form a new way to shape and identify the academic reputation and academic status of the scholars in the Internet Age. This method will provide favorable conditions for the implementation of cutting-edge scholar certification system, the establishment offixed-term academic honor systemand carrying out the cutting-edge scholars responsibility system.
