WANG Hongwei, XIE Ming, HE Zhouwen (Department of Neurology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanhua University, Hengyang, Hunan 421001, P.R.China)
[Objective]To explore the optimal therapeutic approaches for patients with hypertensive ganglionic hemorrhage via the prognoses of two treatment groups. [Methods] Of the inpatients with hypertensive ganglionic hemorrhage,182 cases were divided into conservative treatment and mini-invasive aspiration groups ,global outcome were rated in light of ability daily living (LDL) three months later. The relationship of the prognoses of inpatients with various levels of hemotoma volume and GCS score to both of therapeutic approaches were analyzed with SPSS 11.0 software. [Results]GCS and hemotoma volume were independent siginficant factors of their prognoses. There is no statistically significant difference in the prognoses among two treatment groups with hematomas of 20~30 mL and GCS≤7 points. The prognoses of mini-ivnasive aspiration group was superior to that of the conservative one a-mong hemotomas 30~70 mL and GCS≥8 points. [Conclusion]The patients with hypertensive intracerebral gan-glionic hematomas of 30~70 mL or GCS≥8 points are suitable to the mini-invasive aspiration.
