The author had contrasted the effects of biofeedback training plus medicationon 30 NIDDM with that using of hypoglycemic agent alone. The results were as follows:Afterone course of training, the bled sugar level of the training group became significantly lower thanthat of the control group (P0.05).There were no significant difference in serum insulin and c-peptide level between the two groups;Dosage of the hypoglycemic agent reduced graduallytraining group (P0.05),at the same time, the degree of the patients’skin temperature increasedwhile both bltxxl sugar level and the dose of the hypoglycemic agent declined。 In training group, some patients’pulsation and pain of their ederia dosalic pedis got better. In addition,we did notfind obvious change of blood electrolyte level there was no liver and kidney function alteration norother side-effects in training group. Since biofeedback training is dfficacious and free from side-ef-fects, it is a favourable accessory treatment for diabetic.
