A Controller Design Based on DSP and CPLD for Cascaded Multilevel Convertor

ZHANG Chang-yong, LI Zhi-gang, LIU Zi-xu(Hebei University of Technology, Tianjin 300130)  
On the basis of topology of cascaded multilevel convertor and its PWM technique,designed the controller of multilevel convertor at the core of DSP and CPLD. The system composition and working principles were given on detail. The simulation results was given either. The controller had the advantages of simple hardware, good flexibility and high reliability, especially suits to carrier phase-shifting SPWM modulation method for H-brige cascaded multilevel convetor.
