Fuzzy Direct Torque Control of Asynchronous Motor Fed by Matrix Converter

Direct torque control of asynchronous motor fed by matrix converter,causes the larger torque ripples,and it only be used for the general speed-controlling requirement.To solve this problem,a fuzzy control method was proposed to optimize the choice of voltage vector.Simulation results showed that the new method leads to the lower torque ripples and the better flux trajectory.The combination performances of flux linkage and torque were improved,which proved the validity of this method.
