Objective:To explore the application of Methylprednisolone combined with non-invasive positive pressure ventilation(NPPV) in the treatment of respiratory failure.Method:A total of 98 cases of acute respiratory failure in our hospital from January 2014 to February 2017 were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method,49 cases in each group. Two groups admitted to hospital were given routine treatment, the observation group was given Methylprednisolone Sodium Succinate combined with NPPV treatment on the basis of routine treatment.Systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, heart rate, blood pH,PaO_2,PaCO_2,dyspnea improvement time and average length of stay of two groups before treatment and after treatment of 24 h were compared.Result:After treatment of 24 h,there were no statistical significance in systolic and diastolic blood pressure of two groups(P0.05),and heart rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P0.05).Blood pH,PaO_2 levels of two groups increased, and PaCO_2 decreased(P0.05).Blood pH,PaO_2 levels of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and PaCO_2 level of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P0.05).Dyspnea improved time and hospitalization time of the observation group were better than those of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion:Methylprednisolone Sodium Succinate combined with NPPV is effective in the treatment of respiratory failure,it has the important research significance.
