Objective: To select out the optimal extraction procedure, the extraction time, ethanol concentration, and solvent consumption were adopted,as the factors to determine the optimum conditions for detecting flavonoids in the leaves of Campanumoea lancifolia( Roxb.) Merr. with UV spectrophotometry. Results: The optimum extraction process was 85%( volume fraction) ethanol concentration,1 ∶ 30( g/mL) solid-liquid ratio,10min of extraction time. With this understanding the extraction rate is the highest, which can reach 4. 76%. Conclusion: optimizing the extraction process of total flavonoids in the leaves of Campanumoea lancifolia( Roxb.) Merr. can provide a reference for further research of flavonoids of Eucommia.
