Important Function of Excitation Control System in Improving Electric Power System Stability

JIANG Liang,ZHU Xiang-rong,YANG Li-ming(94629 Troops of Chinese Peple's Liberation Army,JS Nanjing 221022,China)  
The electric power system at any time encounters various interference in the movement,causing the system paralyze.After interference,if it can generate electricity,the function can return to its original state or transfer to a new state,the system is stable.This paper discussed the important function of synchronous generator excitation control system in raising the electric power system stability.
