Status of Contour Error Control of Rotary Non-circular Parts

The servo-system response lag of NC machine tool affects the contour accuracy of rotary non-circular parts. The contour accuracy,as the main accuracy index of parts plays an important role in evaluating the performance of NC machine tool. This paper briefly introduces the grinding principle of x-c biaxial linkage motions,and lays special stress on the description the status of controling servo system tracking position,and the cross-coupled control technology with the direct target,then proposes the other factors that affect the profile error of rotary non-circular parts.
