Corrosion Resistance of NiCrBSiC Alloy by Laser Cladding

40Cr laser cladding was carried out by CO2 laser and the LASERCELL-1005 six axes sixlinkages three dimensional laser processing machine tools.The corrosion resistance of samples before and after laser cladding was investigated by EGG M273 electrochemical measurement system.The results showed that the corrosion resistance was enhanced after laser cladding and the corrosion resistance increased firstly and then decreased with the increase of scan speed V.The best corrosion resistance was obtained when V= 0.5 m/min.the corrosion resistance of large area laser cladding was inferior to that of single-pass laser cladding,and the corrosion resistance of multilayer overlay samples was superior to that of multitrack overlapped samples.
