A Preliminary Report of the Resource Distribution of Fargesia yunnanensis

The resource status of F.yunnanensis distributed in Southwest China was investigated.The results showed that F.yunnanensis widely distributed between latitude 24°13′-28°58′ and altitude of 1 700-2 600 m.The mean air temperature of the coldest month is higher than 4.2℃ and the mean annual temperature is between 17.8-19.7℃,the annual extremely lowest temperature can not be lower than-11.2℃ and the annual accumulated temperature of 10℃ can not be lower than 3 788.3℃.The mean annual precipitation is 1 054.8 mm that is between 559.4-1 600.0 mm and the mean annual frost days are less than 123.5 days.Currently,three variation types have been found,including original variation type,Dongpozhu and Tuomao Kunmingshixinzhu.Dongpozhu is mainly distributed in Jizushan mountain and Tuomao Kunmingshixinzhu is mainly distributed in Xishan mountain and Songming county in Kunming city.
