Research on calculation method of flexural capacity of the hybrid reinforced concrete beams

Proper hybrid distribution of steel bars and GFRP bars can improve the durability life of concrete structures in significantly,and thus it is a good structure system.Flexural capacity of eight concrete beams were tested,and the experimental results showed that GFRP bars could work well with steel bars and concrete.The property of ductile fracture of the beam cross section is recommended.And the conversion ratio reinforcement of the allowable maximum elastic module and the conversion ratio reinforcement of the allowable minimum strength are also putted forward.Based on the test results and theoretical analysis,the calculation method of flexural capacity of the hybrid reinforced concrete beams is presented.
