Influence of axial deformation and floor distortion on behaviors of hybrid structure

The hybrid structure is composite of two different structures,whether the axial deformation and floor distortion of frame column should be considered or not is worthy research.In this paper,behaviors of a hybrid structures with outer steel frames and inner concrete-tube under once load were compared by four projects,and the effect of axial deformation and floor distortion on behaviors of hybrid structure was discussed.It showed that the axial deformation has big influence on behaviors of hybrid structure,namely,structural free vibration period and structural lateral displacement increase,floor shear decreases,floor moment increases,the percent of steel frames bearing total shear increases and the percent of steel frames bearing total moment decreases,the axial deformation of frame column should take into account in hybrid structure.However,the floor distortion has small influence on behaviors of hybrid structure which can be neglected.
