The finite element analysis of the spalling experiment of Hopkinson bar with ANSYS/LS-DYNA

In the paper using ANSYS/LS-DYNA nonlinear finite element code,the spalling experiment of the Hopkinson bar is numerically simulated.Comparing the results of simulation with experiment,it is found that the strain of simulation in the incident bar tallies well with the results of experiment,and there is some difference between the numerical and experimental results in the mortar specimen.The reasons that lead to errors are analyzed.
