Shearing bearing capacity experimental research and numerical analysis for reinforced concrete beams strengthened with steel wire mesh-composite mortar

The shearing bearing capacity of the reinforced concrete beams strengthened with steel wire mesh-composite mortar are studied by using the finite element software ANSYS.The ANSYS analysis results are compared with the data of the experimental research.The longitudinal tendon strain and the stirrups has a good agreement with the test results,but the steel wire mesh has some difference is because there has no good way of measuring the strain of the steel wire mesh,there are some pilot error in the course of the experiment.RC beams strengthened with steel wire mesh-composite mortar still have a lot of capacity of bearing loads after the stirrup steel has yield,can continued its effect until the beam was undermined,suggest that with steel wire mesh strengthened,the RC beam's shear brittle failure can be delayed.And can increase the shear strength of the RC beams,could delay the development of cracks and crack,and the crack was meticulous and mess;in contrast,the crack of the un strengthened compared beam are much more wide and regular;but the finite element analysis software cracks in the beam is not very obvious.The finite element analysis and test results on the research of reinforced concrete beams strengthened with steel wire mesh-composite mortar has a certain reference value.
