The changing law analysis of rutting test of asphalt mixture on the volume parameter between pre and post test

The research of volume parameter between pre and post rutting test is important to improve the high-temperature stability of asphalt mixture.In this paper,asphalt mixture samples were made by using rolling molding method,cored boring sampling,and analysed the volume parameter on volume of air voids,voids in mineral aggregate and voids filled with asphalt.The result shows that the air voids of the rut trough is smaller than the pre-rutting;when the oil stone ratio is in the vicinity of 4.0%,the air voids of the round tracks is bigger than or equal to the pre-rutting,with the oil stone ratio increasing,the air voids of the round tracks reduces and be less than the pre-rutting;the air voids of the rut trough is smaller than the round tracks.
