Study on mechanical properties of low strength concrete beams with opening reinforced with CFRP

This paper had focused on the mechanical properties of low strength concrete beams with round hole and square hole,which were reinforced with CFRP on shear-bending region.The bearing capacities,deformation are analyzed.The study result indicates that compared with the beam with no opening the bearing capacity of the beams with opening is lower,and cut bending damage happened.After the reinforcement of CFRP,the bearing capacity is obviously improved,and almost the same to that of beam with no opening.The bending failure is happened on the beams reinforced with CFRP.Before or after reinforcement,the mechanical properties of beams with round hole are better than that of beams with square hole.The research result provides reference for further study of concrete beams with opening.
