The experimental study on the road performance of TLA modified asphalt mixtures

The article carried on the research of Trinidad lake asphalt,including: the quantity determination of the Trinidad lake modified asphalt,the Trinidad lake modified asphalt penetration,the ductility,the softening point and the viscosity test.Through to the test research of Trinidad lake modified asphalt,determined initially 25% and 33% lake asphalt mix the quantity to carry on the comparison to bituminous mixture experiment,simultaneously carries on the contrast with the matrix bituminous mixture.Before the bituminous mixture experiment,has first carried on raw material choice and three kind of bituminous mixture mixture ratio design,determined respective best asphalt amount.Through to the study on water stability,the high temperature performance and the low temperature crack resistance,some results can be obtained after the analysis:33% quantity of the Trinidad lake modified asphalt is able to enhance the road performance.
