Analysis of mechanical behavior of unbonded prestressed concrete slabs with openings reinforced by internal beam or reinforcement bars

Experiments of 8 Pcs unbonded prestressed concrete slabs with openings under vertical uniform load were conducted to made comparison and analysis of slab's crack,rebar stress,deflection development and ultimate bearing capacity of the two reinforcement modes for the opening in slab.At the same time,adopt strip coating method and yield line theory to calculate ultimate bearing capacity of slabs with reinforced opening;compare the above theoretical calculation results and laboratory experimental results.It is found that internal beam can reinforce slab with openings better than additional reinforcement bars which provide a theoretical reference for engineering application.
