The research on structural damage identification using the fusion of static and dynamic indicators based on D-S evidence theory

In the large-scale civil structural health monitoring,in order to improve the accuracy of structural damage identification,the method on structural damage identification using the fusion of static and dynamic indicators based on D-S evidence theory is first proposed in this paper.According to the static and dynamic test response of the civil structure,the static and dynamic indicators for structural damage identification are constructed,and then the data fusion based on D-S evidence theory of them will be proceeding,to make the final identification of structural damage.The new methods that fully fused the information on structural damage,which is contained in the static and dynamic response,have the capacity of resisting interference and the high precision of identification,better than separately using static or dynamic information.In order to verify the validity and feasibility of method that is proposed in the paper,a single or multiple damages simulation of a simple beam is conducted,taking into account the impact of environmental noise,and the identification results with single indicator is compared,it showed that the proposed method is effective and have a high degree of accuracy.
